Added some more links, trying to find more sites with tournaments for all type of gaming.

Gamespy - Gamespy is the place to go to look for software for playing online.
Fileplanet - Associated with Gamespy, this place is where you can download any updates, previews, add ons, modifications and more.
Tournaments/Ladders
Teamplay - This is where all the tough pro players play at, has lots of ladders and tourneys for lots of games and mods.
Online Gaming League - This is an ok ladder to play on.
Cases Ladder - I use to play on this ladder all the time, very good to play on with over 2 million gamers.
MyLeague - This site allows you to run your own ladder, with easy management tools and it does the work for you.
MyTourney - Run your own online tournament, this will do all the scheduling, matches up players, posts brackets, and updates the pages.
The CPL - CyberAthletes Professional league, this is the tournaments of tournaments, all the pro's come here to compete in Dallas Texas.
